Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to a few Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of the role of actress Savitri in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actress for children. Then, following a course in fashion design, she returned to acting. She portrayed her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed up to be a part of several Tamil film projects simultaneously. The director was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare much, but it was released. To make room for larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she opted from a few films which she then began working on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Then, she worked on Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short films. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed. Reports claim that Janakitho will be released in September of 2020. The debut film was Nenu Sailaja in 2016, featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
