Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney's mother and her began singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist, Newark when Whitney was only fifteen years old. The album that followed it in 1987 Whitney that included hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the best-selling artists of all time. The film itself as well as the performance of her on screen were not widely appreciated, the album's soundtrack and her version of the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the album and single charts for months and sold 44 million copies across the world. That same year she married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993.
