Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents for the town in which she grew in. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer along with Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's dad came from the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County to California when she was seven years old. In Mendocino County, they did not have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed book reader because there was no TV. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of 12 years old. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then only 15, landed the role of a leading actor. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Her professional acting, she believed to help, could have helped her. But, unfortunately, that didn't take place. However, it didn't stop her from following her dreams. In 1988, the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder continued to be successful in her parts in a variety of films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for the Academy Awards.
